MESSAGE OF THE SCHOOL HEAD
“Every accomplishment starts with the decision to try.” This challenging quotation by John F. Kennedy sparks the dim light every school faced during the School Year 2020-2021 since the Pandemic of Covid-19 has started and no face to face classes were implemented. A lot of restrictions, limitations and uncertainties brought so many challenges on how education should continue. PNHS Marcelo Green crafted a school-based Basic Education Learning Continuity Plan (BE LCP) to address the needs of our learners in the “New Normal” situation. PNHS Marcelo Green continuously finds ways to carry out major programs, plans, and activities.
Amidst the obstacles we faced, PNHS Marcelo Green stands on its ground and continues to find ways in providing our learners quality education so we can constantly pursue excellence and fulfill DepEd’s Vision and Mission. Responding to the need of improving the multi – media access, our school prioritizes to make a subscription to Tech Buddy Incorporated in order to create our own website, with the primary aim of providing timely, engaging, and current information to our current parents, students, staff, and the rest of the learning community so we successfully migrate to digitization. I acknowledge the team effort of the ICT/ Website Committee led by ICT Infrastructure Coordinator Mr. Jhomar Tapel for leading the way and making this project possible. I’m excited for this new endeavor and hoping that it will propel us to a new level of technology refurbishment as we continue to strive and work as a team and accomplish our goals as part of the School Improvement Plan. As Harvey Mackay said, “Accomplishments shouldn’t be the end of the road, just the starting point for the next leap forward.”
