This website adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard. WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). There are testable success criteria for each guideline. Compliance to these criteria is measured in three levels: A, AA, or AAA. High Performing Students in Grade 8 attend the Peer Tutoring.
The school canteen promotes the development of desirable eating habits of student and ensures the best food possible is available to enhance students’ ability to learn. The School Canteen also serves as a venue for conducting TLE classes (cookery).
The Library/Reading Area empowers students, not only by supporting the teaching and learning in school, but by giving them the freedom to make their own choices about reading and learning experiences.
The School’s Learning Resource Area provides a mixture of print materials such as books, magazines and journals, and non-print this includes electronic resources such as e-books, electronic databases and other web resources accessed via a computer, or tablet. Learners can use both traditional and modern means to access information and learn.
A classroom is a learning space where students learning can take space uninterrupted by outside distractions.
The entrance lobby is an open area, typically found near the main entrance, where corridors and other rooms can be accessed. This area is utilized for face-to-face queries of parents, as main entrance exit of staff, to welcome and screen visitors, and as a meeting point and late pick-up point of students and staff.
The school has a sink at the entrance gate for hand washing.
The school provides foot press/hands-free alcohol dispensers for hand sanitation.
